Thordsen Customs FRS-15

Thordsen Customs FRS-15

Thordsen Customs has released the FRS-15, essentially a refined version of currently available California-style stocks (it most closely resembles the California Rifles U15 stock) that eliminate the pistol grip (as defined by California law).

I’ll admit that these alternatives to a fixed magazine AR are at least starting to get better looking. The MonsterMan grip seems to be the least obtrusive, and fastest to convert back to standard configuration. It will be interesting to see if this product catches on, there is certainly a large market for those whom wish to use detachable magazines on ARs in California.

Am I missing something in this last photo? Thumbs are really useful when handling stuff. Where’s it go?

It takes a little getting used to. You can use a thumb-forward grip or your thumb can rest in the channel between the flared portion of the grip and the stock.
